Correlation method and system for overlay network based on SDN (Software Defined Network) and physical network

The invention discloses a correlation method and system for an overlay network based on an SDN (Software Defined Network) and a physical network. The method comprises the following steps: configuring virtual network information of the overlay network based on the SDN on the basis of an OpenStack open source cloud management platform; determining the mapping relations between the virtual network information of the overlay network based on the SDN and physical network cards of host machines; determining the connection state and data forwarding path of the overlay network based on the SDN in a physical network comprising physical network equipment and the host machines according to the mapping relations between the virtual network information and the physical network cards of the host machines, the connection relation between the physical network card of each host machine and each port of the physical network equipment, and the connection relations among different ports of the physical network equipment. By adopting the correlation method and system for the overlay network based on the SDN and the physical network disclosed by the invention, the problem that correlation mapping between the overlay network based on the SDN and the physical network cannot be realized on the basis of the conventional network equipment in the prior art can be solved.
