Zusammenfassung:The invention provides a preparation method of a Ta2AlC block ceramic. The preparation method comprises the following steps: placing tantalum powder, aluminum powder and carbon black powder in a ball-milling tank, adding a dispersion medium, and then wet-mixing and ball-milling in a planet ball mill; drying to obtain powder; placing the dried powder in a die to pre-pressing to manufacture a preformed blank; embedding the preformed blank in the die filled with quartz sand, igniting the preformed blank to generate self-propagating reaction by using a resistance wire and an igniting agent; cooling to 1000-1500 DEG.C, exerting 200-450Ma and maintaining for 10-30s, cooling to room temperature to obtain the Ta2AlC block ceramic. The Ta2AlC block ceramic provided by the invention is manufactured by using self-propagating high-temperature synthesis/pseudo heat isostatic pressing technology, the process is simple, the synthesis temperature is relatively low, the reaction time is short, the production efficiency is low and the cost is low; the manufactured Ta1AlC block material has the characteristics of being high in density and high in purity, and can be applied to the fields such as spaceflight, aviation and electronic industry.
