The model sand has the following advantages that 1)the particle unit weight can be artificially adjusted, particle size scope is wide, particle form of the model sand is same with that of the natural sand; 2)physicochemical property is stable, intensity is high, and model sand enables repeatable utilization; 3)angle of repose is large, stable bed surface form can be easily formed, and the model sand has good hydraulics parameter; 4)base material production technology is simple, and can be massively obtained, the product enables large-scale preparation, and production cost is low.
