description The invention relates to the field of genuine medicinal material climate feature building and feature extraction, and discloses a genuine medicinal material climate feature defining method by taking angelicae dahuricae for example. The method comprises the following steps that S1, the genuine producing area (A) of genuine medicinal materials is determined according to documentary records and on-the-spot investigaion; S2, climate data (M1) of each factor in water, light and heat factors in different time scales (inter-monthly, ten-day and inter-diurnal) of a corresponding meteorological station in the genuine producing area (A) is obtained; S3, several factors more importantly influencing the genuine medicinal material distribution are determined according to biological features of the genuine medicinal materials and each index variation coefficient; S4, a new variable (N) is built according to inter-monthly data curve changes of important factors (M); S5, the variation range of the new variable (N) in a certain region is calculated, and in addition, the climate feature curve and the feature space of the genuine medicinal materials are given. A genuine medicinal material climate feature building method has the advantages that inter-monthly data and data mining concepts in one year are adopted, a curve feature constructing method is adopted, and the climate requirement feature of the genuine medicinal materials is subjected to quantitative evaluation for answering climate reasons for high quality of the genuine medicinal materials.
