description The invention discloses a device for controlling a crane operation speed. The speed ratio of the intermediate transmission system is changed by the device to adjust the operating speed, and the engine always operates in an economical rotating speed region to reduce the operation fuel consumption of the entire machine. The invention further discloses a method for controlling the crane operation speed.
