The invention relates to a 220kV long cable voltage withstand test wireless control system and a control method of the wireless control system. The system comprises a control terminal and is characterized by further comprising a main control computer, the main control computer comprises an ARM, the ARM is connected with a wireless module used for communicating with the control terminal, a touch screen displayer, a CPLD and an A/D conversion circuit, the output end of the CPLD is connected with an SPWM driving module, the output end of the SPWM driving module is connected with an exciting transformer through a variable frequency voltage regulating output module, the exciting transformer is connected with an LC resonance circuit, the output end of the LC resonance circuit is connected with the first input end of the A/D conversion circuit, and the other output end of the variable frequency voltage regulating output module is connected with the second input end of the A/D conversion circuit. The wireless control system is simple in structure, and remote control of a worker can be achieved by a hardware device by means of an existing wireless communication protocol.
