Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses an insulating refractory and a manufacturing method thereof. The material is obtained by mixing raw materials of kyanite powder, wollastonite powder, flint clay powder, silicon oxide powder, calcium aluminate cement, organic fiber and a foaming agent, a stabilizing agent, a hardening accelerator, etc., with hot water in a certain ratio to form slurry, and through moulding by casting, curing, drying and sintering. The insulating refractory of the invention has the advantages of uniform pore distribution, a low volume density, a relatively high strength, a low thermal conductivity, and good thermal shock resistance, a strong reducing atmosphere-resisting effect, etc., and has an operating temperature reaching 1350-1400DEG C; solving the problem of damage of furnace lining caused by that SiO2 is easily reduced in reducing atmosphere in generally used Al2O3-SiO2 materials, and being suitable for being used as heat insulation linings for hot-blast stoves, soaking pits, and heating furnaces |
