description | The invention relates to a manufacturing method for coating capable of reducing heating oxidation burning loss of steel billets and a using method of the coating and belongs to the technical fields of chemical materials and production process thereof. The chemical formula of the aid comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 10 to 15 percent of silica sol binder, 20 to 30 percent of aluminum polymetaphosphate curing agent, 12 to 18 percent of zirconium oxide, 20 to 30 percent of silicon carbide, 15 to 22 percent of aluminum oxide and 1 to 5 percent of polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing the chemical agents with proper content and proper granularity uniformly; grinding and sieving by using 600-mesh sieve; and storing 10 to 15 percent of silica sol binder and 1 to 5 percent of polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent respectively and singly to obtain the coating.
