Reinforced thermoplastic resin composition and molded article

Disclosed is a reinforced thermoplastic resin composition having excellent moldability, processability and mechanical strength, while having improved drop impact resistance (surface impact strength determined by a ball drop test). Specifically disclosed is a reinforced thermoplastic resin composition containing 10-60% by mass of a graft copolymer (A) wherein a graft chain (A2) is grafted to a rubbery polymer (A1), and 40-90% by mass of a matrix polymer (B) composed of one or more polymers selected from the group consisting of vinyl copolymers (B-1), polycarbonate resins (B-2) and polyester resins (B-3). The reinforced thermoplastic resin composition further contains, per 100 parts by mass of the total of the graft copolymer (A) and the matrix polymer (B), 0.1-50 parts by mass of an inorganic filler (D) and 0.5-20 parts by mass of a glycidyl ether unit-containing polymer (E) having a mass average molecular weight of 3,000-200,000.
