The industrial control system comprises a resource management module for determining what resources are needed for an object to operate according to a manner needed for any operation; an organizational module for pairing the object with a host in an attempt to meet the resource need; an association module for automatically matching the object with the host if it is determined that at least one resource need is met; a discovery module, wherein the discovery module is used for determining that there is a newly added modular object to the configuration and then the resource management module can determine resource needs of the newly added modular object; and a balance module that determines if the match made by the association module should be broken based upon the operational need of the newly added modular object. |
