Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a series connection type waste gas recycling cooler for a medium and heavy duty vehicle, which comprises a gas inlet pipe box, a gas exhaust pipe box, at least two heat exchange pipe assemblies, a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe, wherein the gas inlet pipe box is connected with a gas exhaust pipe of an engine; the gas exhaust pipe box is connected with a gas exhaust pipe of a waste gas recycling system of the engine; the heat exchange pipe assemblies are respectively connected with the gas inlet pipe box and the gas exhaust pipe box by ridge rings; the water inlet pipe is arranged on the heat exchange pipe assembly connected with the gas inlet pipe box; the water outlet pipe is arranged on the heat exchange pipe assembly connected with the gas exhaust pipe box; and the heat exchange pipe assemblies are connected by heat exchange pipe box connecting elements for connecting gas paths and connected with a water path by water path connecting elements.
