Information sharing method between network management system (NMS) based on SNMP protocol and system thereof

The invention provides an information sharing method among network management system (NMS) based on an SNMP protocol and a system thereof. The method comprises the following steps: a local NMS is used as a managed device of other NMSs which acquire or configure the parameters of the device and services by the SNMP protocol according to a preliminarily configured MIB variable identifier; and the local NMS informs related other NMSs of a failure or alarm generated by a device in a local organizational domain by a standard SNMP protocol. The method solves registration, acquisition, configurationand failure or alarm notification among a plurality of NMSs, not only can rapidly acquire the parameter information of span-domain services, but also is simple to achieve and extendible; meanwhile, each NMS can adopt the standard SNMP protocol to manage other local organizational domain NMSs associated with all devices and services in the local organizational domain and lowers the information sharing difficulty among the
