Zusammenfassung:	A method for determining osmotic coefficient includes using a vacuuming device to make soil sample be state of vacuum negative pressure and using pressure difference generated by vacuum as osmotic force when osmose is occurred, making water flow in soil sample to create vadose, measuring vadose amount and vadose time as well as vadose distance on soil sample for obtaining osmotic coefficient of tested soil sample. The device for realizing said method is also disclosed.
