Data exchange method based on virtual local area network

The method includes steps: in Ethernet exchange equipment, assigning label-forwarding table, which can index information of physical address and output interface port number of device for next hop of data frame based on input interface port number of data frame, or input interface port number of data frame and VLAN label; based on indexed physical address and output interface port number of device for next hop of corresponding data frame, source physical address and target physical address of the data frame are packed again and output from the corresponding output interface port. The invention makes Ethernet exchange equipment possible to carry format of data frame in multiple types. Thus, Ethernet exchange equipment is suitable to network system configured in multiple modes.
