The microswitch is in a circuit (Fig. 5, not shown) arranged to prevent restarting of the loom even after the cause of the malfunction has been removed, until a switch is reset. The belt 4 passes around rollers 2 attached to an outer inserter element 1, is attached at 6 to the sliding inner section 7 and fastened to the loom frame at 5, so that as section 1 is driven into the shed, section 7 extends further into the shed.
