La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un polyuréthanne thermoplastique présentant une faible température de transition vitreuse. Le procédé selon la présente invention comprend les étapes consistant à fournir au moins une composition de polyols (P) comprenant un poly-e-caprolactone polyol (P1), et un second polyol (P2) qui est différent du premier polyol (P1), et la réaction de ladite composition de polyols (P) avec au moins un polyisocyanate (P1) et au moins un diol à faible masse moléculaire (CE), en option en présence d'au moins un catalyseur (CA) et/ou d'au moins un additif (AD), pour obtenir un polyuréthanne thermoplastique. La présente invention concerne également le polyuréthanne thermoplastique obtenu conformément au procédé de la présente invention, et son utilisation dans des articles extrudés et des articles moulés par injection.
