Zusammenfassung:	A circumferential sampling tool for obtaining samples form an interior surface of a tube. The tool comprises rotatable outer shell coaxially mounted on a stationary core, where at least one oxide cutter assembly and one sample cutter assembly are coupled to the rotatable outer shell. At least one actuator assembly coupled to the stationary core assembly may extend one of cutter assemblies radially outwards to make a cut, wherein the triggering and execution of the cutting sequence are based at least in part on information provided by at least one sensing probe coupled to the at least one actuator. A method for obtaining samples from an interior surface of a tube is also disclosed.
