WATERPROOF AND BREATHABLE SHOE

A waterproof and breathable shoe (10), comprising an upper assembly (11) that wraps around the foot insertion region (A) and is associated, in its plantar region, with an outsole (12, 112, 212); the upper assembly (11) has a first portion (14) that is structured like an upper and a second portion (15), substantially a structural insert, that is structured like an assembly insole for the first portion (14) and is extended at least at the forefoot; the first portion (14) has at least one waterproof portion that is composed at least partly of a waterproof and breathable functional element that has a one piece sheet-like structure made of polymeric material that is impermeable to water and permeable to water vapor, constituting for the first portion (14) the structural layer of the upper of the waterproof and breathable shoe (10), at least one functional portion of the functional element having such a thickness as to give it a penetration resistance of more than approximately 10 N, assessed according to the methodology presented in chapter 5.8.2 of the ISO 20344-2004 standard. L'invention concerne une chaussure imperméable et respirante (10), comprenant un ensemble tige (11) qui enveloppe la région d'insertion du pied (A) et est associé, dans sa région plantaire, à une semelle extérieure (12, 112, 212) ; l'ensemble tige (11) comporte une première partie (14) qui est structurée comme une tige et une deuxième partie (15), pratiquement un insert structurel, qui est structurée comme une semelle intérieure d'assemblage pour la première partie (14) et s'étend au moins au niveau de l'avant-pied ; la première partie (14) comporte au moins une partie imperméable qui est composée au moins partiellement d'un élément fonctionnel imperméable et respirant qui a une structure de type feuille en une pièce fabriquée à partir d'un matériau polymérique qui est imperméable à l'eau et perméable à la vapeur d'eau, constituant pour la première partie (14) la couche structurelle de la tige de la chaussure imperméable et respirante (10), au moins une partie fonctionnelle de l'élément fonctionnel ayant une épaisseur suffisante pour lui donner une résistance à la pénétration supérieure à environ 10 N, évaluée selon la méthodologie présentée dans le chapitre 5.8.2 de la norme ISO 20344-2004.
