La présente invention concerne un système de montage permettant de supporter une machine rotative. Le système comprend un châssis de base (9) présentant une face supérieure pour monter la machine rotative (3, 5, 7), et une face inférieure. Un ensemble d'éléments de support principaux (13) sont agencés selon un agencement triangulaire et forment un agencement de montage à trois points définissant un plan de montage. De plus, un ensemble d'éléments de support auxiliaires (15) présentant une rigidité variable (S1, S2) dans au moins une direction sont prévus et sont configurés et agencés de manière à augmenter la rigidité de ceux-ci lorsque le châssis de base (9) est soumis à une surcharge, ce qui permet de réduire la charge sur les éléments de support principaux (13).
