In particular embodiments, the system is optimized for identifying the smallest available locker that would accommodate the parcel, and facilitating delivery of the parcel to that locker. The size of the parcel may be obtained, for example, from a carrier, a shipper, a consignee, or a third party (such as a customs agent).
