Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure provides a method and system for enhancing startup of recovery of heavy oil from a subsurface formation. The method may include increasing a reservoir pore pressure, then; creating a first differential pressure between at least one injection well and at least one production well within the subsurface formation, then; producing primary sweep volume via one or more of the at least one production well; injecting an injection media into the subsurface formation via one or more of the at least one injection well, then; ceasing injecting the injection media before the injection media is produced by the at least one production well.
