La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de traitement d'une feuille en alliage ferreux mobile qui contient au moins un élément facilement oxydé, ledit procédé comprenant une étape d'immersion de ladite feuille dans un bain d'oxydes fondus, ledit bain d'oxydes fondus présentant une viscosité comprise entre 0,3 x 10-3 Pa.s et 3 x 10-1 Pa.s, la surface dudit bain étant en contact avec une atmosphère non oxydante et lesdits oxydes fondus étant inertes vis-à-vis du fer ; le temps de séjour de ladite feuille mobile dans ledit bain étant d'au moins 1 s ; les résidus des oxydes restant sur les surfaces de ladite feuille (1) à la sortie dudit bain (4, 16) étant éliminés.
