Zusammenfassung:	A lock assembly is disclosed that is operable to mechanically lock a moveable structure to a fixed structure. An escutcheon assembly having an indicator plate movable between a first position and a second position is operable to indicate a locked and unlocked configuration respectively of the lock assembly. A status indicator located proximate a front face and a pair of opposing side faces on the indicator plate to indicate a locked or unlocked status is visible across a 180 degree viewing angle.
