Un dispositif daide à lapprentissage destiné à être utilisé pour apprendre à nager. Le dispositif comprend un corps monobloc approximativement en forme de U. Le corps définit une ouverture conçue pour recevoir le torse dun nageur. Le corps comprend également une paire de parties dextrémité, chacune delles étant effilée en une pointe arrondie. Les parties dextrémité comprennent également des nervures orientées vers lintérieur. Une méthode utilisant un aide à lapprentissage pour une gamme de techniques de natation, notamment le coup de pied avant, le coup de pied arrière, létoile de mer, la nage du chien, le crawl, le dos crawlé, le dos crawlé élémentaire, la brasse, le battement de dauphin et le rétropédalage, est également décrite.
