Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a process for producing A-form crystals of 2-(3-cyano-4-isobutyloxyphenyl)-4-methyl-5-thiazolecarboxylic acid, comprising: a step of dissolving by heating 2-(3-cyano-4-isobutyloxyphenyl)-4-methyl-5-thiazolecarboxylic acid in one or a plurality of solvents as a good solvent, selected from the group consisting of 1-propanol, 2-propanol, ethanol, and acetone; a step of cooling the solution; and a step of adding to the solution a hydrocarbon solvent as a poor solvent. L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication de cristaux de forme A de l'acide 2-(3-cyano-4-isobutyloxyphényl)-4-méthyl-5-thiazole carboxylique. Le procédé comprend l'étape de chauffage et de dissolution de l'acide 2-(3-cyano-4-isobutyloxyphényl)-4-méthyl­5-thiazole carboxylique dans un ou plusieurs solvants, en tant que bons solvants, choisis dans le groupe constitué par le 1-propanol, le 2-propanol, l'éthanol et l'acétone, l'étape de refroidissement de la solution, et l'étape d'addition dans un solvant hydrocarboné en tant que solvant médiocre à la solution refroidie.
