The vehicle chassis-side interface consists of a plate (10) which is independent of said chassis and which is connected to same at at least three points, namely: two points which are controlled by jacks (12) and a third point which takes the form of a ball joint. Le véhicule, qui nécessite pour son alimentation, une masse et/ou un volume important de batteries, a ses batteries supportées par un châssis indépendant (4) adapté à être reçu dans un logement (3) défini sous le châssis du véhicule et muni d'au moins un essieu équipé de roues (5) . Chacun des châssis comporte une interface de connection comportant chacune les parties complémentaires mâle et femelle d'au moins un organe de centrage (15) et d'au moins un organe d'emboîtement (16), l'interface côté châssis de véhicule étant constituée par un plateau (10) indépendant dudit châssis et réuni à lui en au moins trois points, dont deux sont contrôlés par des vérins (12) et dont le troisième revêt la forme d'une rotule.
