Zusammenfassung:	The invention concerns an illumination device, particularly for wavelength dependent light outcoupling with at least one, preferably wavelength dependent, mirrored surface (7) within the lamp's beam (1) to separate the beam into a component used for illumination and an unused spectral component. The purpose of the invention is to provide an illumination device and a method to optimise illumination quality using simple means. The basic purpose of the invention is solved by placing a mirror (16) in the beam of the unused spectral component which reflects it in the direction of a mirrored surface and a portion of which is projected on to a viewing screen (19) for adjustment.
