Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a new individual autonomous heater which includes among others an exothermic material used as a heat source and a flexible hea t distribution layer sandwiched between the heat source and the object to be heated, whereby said heat distribution layer consists of a material having anisotropic thermal conductance that allows for generating a substantially lateral heat flow with a relative lateral thermal conductance ranging betwee n 1,6 and 0,4 Joules ( ~C * cm * sec).
