Zusammenfassung:	TITLE An apparatus 10 and method for producing a framed gypsum board having a framed core and unformed outer layers is disclosed. The apparatus includes a two-stage mixer comprising a first high sheet mixer 12 and a record low shear mixer 14. Plaster slurry is formed in the first mixer; a partition 38 is laid on a first fixing sheet 32, a portion 40 B laid on a second fixing sheet 36, and the remainder goes to the second mixer. In the second mixer, foam is added and the formed slurry is laid on the unformed slurry on the first fixing sheet. The unformed slurry in the second fixing sheet is brought to the formed slurry to join the product.
