RECOVERY OF POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE (PET)
A process of reclaiming clear PET resin from bottles and other containers is disclosed. PET resin contaminated with a hot melt type polyethylene copolymer based glue is treated with a chlorinated solvent and optionally subjected to azeotropic drying.
