Zusammenfassung:PHN 8984 24.6.1978 A data buffer memory of the first-in, first-out type, comprising an input bus via which data are applied to the buffer, and a fixed output wherefrom data are taken up from the buffer. Per section of the buffer, the buffer comprises logic means whereby a variable input location can be selected. In the logic means status signals are used to determine, in cooperation with signals applied from outside the buffer, the location where data are to be written in the buffer and, if necessary, when these data in the buffer must be shifted to the output.
