A first adhesive region is applied to an installation portion of the first side and a second adhesive region is applied to a fastening portion of the first side. The first and second adhesive regions are configured to provide different adhesion characteristics. A disposable absorbent article includes at least one fastener tab and may also include release and attachment substrates that releasably retain the second adhesive region for storage and use, respectively.
