MÉTODO PARA AUMENTAR A EFICÁCIA TERAPÊUTICA DE UM AGENTE DE IMUNOTERAPIA, MÉTODO DE TRATAMENTO DE CÂNCER E MÉTODO DE INIBIÇÃO DO CRESCIMENTO DE UMA CÉLULA DE CÂNCER. São fornecidos neste documento são inibidores de desoxiuridina trifosfatase (dUTPase) para uso em métodos para aumentar a eficácia terapêutica de um agente de imunoterapia em um sujeito em necessidade do mesmo e métodos de tratamento de câncer em um sujeito em necessidade do mesmo, os métodos compreendendo a administração ao sujeito de uma quantidade eficaz de um inibidor de desoxiuridina trifosfatase (dUTPase) e o agente de imunoterapia e, opcionalmente, compreendendo ainda administrar ao sujeito um ou mais selecionados a partir de uma quantidade eficaz de um inibidor da biossíntese de timidilato e uma quantidade eficaz de uma antraciclina ou outro inibidor da topoisomerase II. Provided herein are deoxyuridine triphosphatase (dUTPase) inhibitors for use in methods of enhancing a therapeutic efficacy of an immunotherapy agent in a subject in need thereof and in methods of treating cancer in a subject in need thereof, the methods comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of a deoxyuridine triphosphatase (dUTPase) inhibitor and the immunotherapy agent, and optionally further comprising administering to the subject one or more selected from an effective amount of an inhibitor of thymidylate biosynthesis, and an effective amount of an anthracycline or other topoisomerase II inhibitor.
