The invention relates to a fast, simple and effective method of removal of the harmful fluorine ions from solutions for the production of zinc by electro-extraction, which consists in the fact that to the electrolyte is added aluminium sulfate (Al2(SO4)3.18H2O) in the dry state in an amount of 0.006 to 60 g/l, with post-mixing of the electrolyte until complete homogenization, stay for 1 to 6h for the interaction of fluorine with aluminium ions, elutriation and filtration. |
