SYSTEM FOR MEASURING THE WEIGHT OF LIVE POULTRY AT FLOOR REARING

The invention can be applied in systems for automaticmanagement and control in industrial poultry raising. It increasesthe accuracy of determining the average weight of live poultryraised in floor conditions, which is due to the method forattracting the birds, of the increased number of measuringplatforms and reducing the measurement times. The system consistsof a mechanical structure made of drinking troughs for poultryhaving flow meter (2) for liquids and weighing machine fittedunder it. To the walls of the weighing machine (3) eight measuringplatforms are radially fitted to each of which a pair oftensoresistor primary converters (4) are fitted. The weighingplatforms are separated by partition walls (6). In the casing ofthe weighing machine eight analogue amplifiers (6), an analogiemultiplexor (8), an analogue-digital converter (9), microprocessormeasuring unit (10), pulse shaper (11) and communication unit (12)are fitted.
