Zusammenfassung:The compounds are derivatives of ampicillin and amoxicillin and may be applied in the humane and veterinary medicine as medications against bacterial infections. The probability for resistance against them is lower compared to the known antibiotics. They have the following general formula:where Pyr is pyrrole residue, containing carbethoxy-, methyl and/or bromomethyl groups as substitutes, R is H or OH. They are prepared through condensation (accompanied by water separation) between the amino group of the ampicillin or amoxicillin and the respective substituted pyrrole aldehyde.
