Zusammenfassung: | This column is used for producing fertilizers. It ensures a minimum, specific, reaction volume and reduction of the hydraulic resistance, with which it achieves a lower content of nitric oxides in the outgoing gases. The column is a cylindrical vessel with sieving plates, spillways for passage of the solution from upper to lower-located plates, and cooling serpentines for the plates. The distance between the plates, located along the passage of the gas from top to bottom at a height expressed as a percentage of total height of the column, are: up to 40% in height - from 0.8 to 1.1 m; up to 50% - from 0.9 to 1.2 m; up to 70% - from 1.2 to 1.5 m and up to 100% - from 1.5 to 2.2 m. The heights of the spillways thresholds of the plates are: up to 40% of the height of the column - from 250 to 350 mm; to 50% - from 220 to 260 mm; to 70% - from 220 to 160 mm and up to 100% - from 100 to 160 mm. The diameter of the apertures in the plates is from 1.0 to 2.5 mm, while their light section is from 2 to 3.5%. |
