PRINTERS CONTROL SYSTEM

The system is applicable to printing equipment control when they are used by a group of computers. It increases the information transmission speed. The system includes N-number of computers, each one connected through a serial or parallel interface to an input interface adapter. All of the N- input interface adapters are connected to common data, control, addresses and selection bands. These buses are also connected to a K- output interface adapters. Each of the adapters is connected to a printer. The input and output interface adapters have outputs connected to a N- canal input register for readiness, respectively a K- canal output register for readiness, which are connected to the selection bus and data bus. The address bus is connected to a constant, operating and buffer memory, a decoder and a microprocessor block. The control bus is connected to a data buffer, the constant, operating and buffer memory, the decoder and the microprocessor block. The latter is connected to the data buffer and to the constant, operating and buffer memory. The decoder is connected to the selection bus, the data buffer and the constant, operating and buffer memory. The data buffer is connected to the data bus, a mode selection block, an indication block and a digital display block. The block for mode selection, indication and digital display are also connected to the selection bus.
