MULTILAYER DRESSING FOR THE TREATMENT OF SKIN INJUTRIES FROM CHEMICAL AND/OR THERMAL AGENTS

The multilayer dressing is used for the treatment of skininjuries from chemical and/or thermal agents. It consists of aninner layer of unadherent, physiologically inert tissue of polymerfibre in contact with the surface of the wound. Optionally thefibre has been modified with silicon polymer. The dressing alsohas a medium layer of highly absorption material and outer layerof a material being the same or different from that of the innerlayer. The inner layer being in contact with the surface of thewound is a polyester or polysiloxane-modified polyamide netmodified by an antimicrobial agent. The medium layer is ofcellulose wool with surface mass from 100 to 300 g/m2 andthickness of 0.002-0.005 m, modified by an antimicrobial agentfrom 0.01 to 0.05 wt.% and lidocaine hydrocloricum in quantityfrom 0.005 to 0.01 wt.%.
