Zusammenfassung:Production of high temperature superconductor molded parts comprises placing a powdered precursor material of the composition Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+d into a mold; and converting into a superconducting molded part by partially melting. The elements Bi, Sr, Ca, Cu and O are dry mixed in an approximate stoichiometric ratio and the mixture obtained is used directly or via a calcination process as the precursor material. Preferred Features: Cu in the form of Cu2O and the remaining elements in the form of oxides, carbonates, sulfates or nitrates are mixed.
