Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an assembly comprising an arrangement (1) formed of two gas diffusion electrodes (2, 3), between which a membrane (4) is sandwiched, the arrangement (1) being connected sealingly by means of a first seal (5) to a frame (6) surrounding the arrangement (1) at the outer periphery thereof, the frame (6) having two opposite end faces (7, 8). The frame (6) has line-shaped apertures (9), which extend from the first (7) to the second end face (8) of the frame (6), the apertures (9) being surrounded by second seals (10.1, 10.2, 10.3,...) at the end faces on both sides of the frame (6) and being sealed with respect to one another during the intended use of the assembly.
