The operations include accessing data communications associated with energy consumption from premises data sources located at a premises. Additionally, the operations include generating a premises data set using the data communications associated with the energy consumption and wrapping the premises data set with a set of permissions using a privacy management operation. Further, the operations include receiving a request from an entity to access the premises data set and determining that the entity is permitted to access the premises data set based on the set of permissions. Moreover, the operations include providing the premises data set to the entity.
