| Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to an immunogenic composition comprising multivalent Streptococcus pneumoniae polysaccharide-protein conjugates. The respective conjugates comprise capsular polysaccharides of different Streptococcus pneumoniae serotypes conjugated to carrier proteins, and thus can induce immune responses to a wider variety of serotypes compared with existing Prevenar 13. The multivalent immunogenic composition according to the present invention can be advantageously used in preventing diseases caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae in infants, children, and adults. |
