Zusammenfassung:METHODS AND DEVICES FOR PERFORMING A SURGICAL ANASTOMOSIS A circular stapler (10) comprising: a handle assembly (20); an elongate body (30) extending from the handle assembly (20) and defining a longitudinal axis; and a cartridge assembly (110) disposed adjacent a distal end of the elongate body (30), the cartridge assembly (110) including a pusher assembly (530) and a knife assembly (400), the pusher assembly (530) being movable to cause staples to be ejected from the cartridge assembly (110), the knife assembly (400) being selectively movable relative to the pusher assembly (530) to distally translate a knife, wherein a knife carrier (420) of the knife assembly (400) includes at least one latch (426) thereon, wherein the at least one latch (426) is configured to contact an engagement surface (550) of the pusher assembly (530) in response to movement between the knife carrier (420) and the pusher assembly (530), and wherein the at least one latch (426) is prevented from distally translating beyond the engagement surface (550).
