Zusammenfassung:The present invention concerns a method for cooking a food product, in particular rice, in the presence of water in a cooking chamber, in which a program for cooking the food product is determined automatically and/or proposed and/or made user-selectable, at least partly based on a predictive mathematical model of the behaviour of at least one organoleptic parameter of the food product depending at least on an initial water/food product ratio in the cooking chamber, and a desired value for said parameter.
