Laparoscopy forceps

The present invention relates to laparoscopy forceps. The forceps comprise a yoke (10) with a cutting (11), and two jaws (20, 21); means for mounting the jaws in rotation with respect to the yoke about an axis (24); a control shaft (30) mounted in translation Tr in the cutting (11); a pantograph (40) linking the shaft (30) and the two jaws and comprising two connecting rods (41, 42) which are mounted in rotation on the shaft (30) about an axis (32), two cams (51, 52) rigidly connected to the two jaws (20, 21), means for mounting each connecting rod (41, 42) in rotation on the two cams (51, 52) about axes (43) and (44), the four axes of rotation being parallel, the external diameter of the yoke (10) being equal to 2D, the width of the connecting rods (41, 42) being equal to 2E, the distance separating the axes (43) and (44) when the two gripping faces (22, 23) of the jaws (20, 21) are in contact having a value 2C, the value of the angle formed in this case by the axes (45, 46) being equal to 2A, the values D, E, C and A being substantially linked by the following equation: D = C + E/cosine A.
