Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is generally directed to a grip enhancing material that includes a polymeric sheet having a first surface and a second surface, a plurality of elongated flexible bristles contiguous with the first surface, the elongated flexible bristles having a root proximate to the first surface, a tip spaced apart from the first surface, wherein at least a portion of the flexible bristles have an average aspect ratio of at least about 1 :5, and wherein at least a portion of the flexible bristles have an average length of less than about 15 microns.
