Zusammenfassung:	A personnel carrying vehicle (10). The vehicle has a self propelled, steerable body (20), a mast (30) attached to and extending upwardly from the body, and a personnel compartment (40) attached to the mast. The mast extends upwardly and forwardly of the body from the place of attachment. The personnel compartment may include a rail (42) that extends from the mast and around the sides of the personnel compartment. The rail may be at approximately waist level. The mast may extend upwardly at an angle of approximately 5°. The personnel carrying vehicle may further comprise a load deck (27) mounted on the body for supporting articles to be carried.
