The machine (1) has a inking system (8a) with multiple inking system rollers and a dampening system roller, where moistening agent is discharged from a porous surface of the dampening system roller. The pressure of the moistening agent is adjustable at inside the dampening system roller. The agent flow is separable between the dampening system roller and a printing plate. The separation of the agent and the adjustment of the pressure inside the dampening system roller are jointly, synchronizely controlled based on operating conditions of the machine. The printing units are provided for black, yellow, magenta and cyan colors. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling moistening agent guiding with a rotating surface printing machine.
