The connecting device is constructed as an adaptor separately installed on the window frame (4). The adaptor has at least one base profile (29) connected to the window frame. An inner lining seal (33) in the form of a tubular seal (34) is supported by the base profile and lies against the end face (40) of the inner lining (13).
